Auschwitz tour from Warsaw is a whole day tour. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and you will return to Warsaw by the evening. In Auschwitz you will learn the tragic history of the German Nazi biggest extermination camp in occupied Europe. The 3,5 hours guided walk includes visiting Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II Birkenau. The camp was established in 1940 by the Nazis. It had taken a toll of over 1 million human lives before it was liberated by the Soviet army in January 1945. In spite of Nazis’ attempt to destroy the buildings, much of the camp remained intact. You will walk through the main gate with the “Arbeit macht frei” phrase written above the entrance to see the barracks, gas chambers and crematories.
